Based on Kreischer’s 2016 stand-up comedy act of the same name, The machine follows the comedian and his father, played by Hamill, as they are kidnapped by those whom Screecher wronged decades earlier during his drunken college trip to Russia.

WILL THE MACHINE BE ON NETFLIX?

Yes, The machine will probably be on Netflix because a act signed between the streaming platform and its distributor Screen Gems’ parent company, Sony Pictures. The deal will give the streamer US rights to all of the company’s feature films from 2022.

While no streaming release date has been announced yet, we can use another recent Sony film to give an estimate. The Woman King hit theaters on September 16, 2022, before hitting Netflix on February 16, 2023, around five months after its debut. If The machine following the same pattern, we could be watching from the comfort of our homes by the end of October 2023.

However, a digital release date should arrive much sooner. The thriller directed by Storm Reid Miss hit theaters on January 20 before being available to buy or rent on March 7 – about 45 days after its debut. According to this logic The machine should be available digitally by mid-July 2023.

WILL THE MACHINE BE ON HBO MAX?

NO, The machine will not be HBO Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. film. In the meantime, all you have to do is go to the cinema or wait until the movie is available to stream on Netflix.
