Debuting in theaters earlier this year, The son from Sony Pictures Classics is somewhat unexpected (SPC movies didn’t always make it to Netflix) and boasts an impressive cast list. Directed by Florian Zeller, the film stars top names such as Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern, Vanessa Kirby, Zen McGrath and Anthony Hopkins.
Miss (2023)
Coming to Netflix: Saturday
Yes, we’re getting two Sony films over the weekend Miss It was the biggest of the two new titles coming our way.
With a Certified freshness rating Featured on RottenTomatoes, the film follows a young daughter as she tries to track down her missing mother who was vacationing in Colombia with a new friend. Using technology to find them, not only their location comes to light but also some dark secrets.
According to the RT critics’ consensus:
“The missingness can test credibility in its efforts to keep audiences guessing, but a fast pace and understandable fears keep this twisty techno-thriller from going completely off track.”
