The outdoor film series at the National Nordic Museum returns this summer. The first film will be screened on Thursday May 25th.
The film series is entitled Nordics in Hollywood and features contributions from Nordic and North American actors and directors to American cinema.
However, all films are free and open to the public. registration is required. The films are shown behind the museum in the parking lot; Visitors should bring folding chairs or blankets to sit on while watching the film. Popcorn and food trucks are on-site for each movie.
The first film will be Notoriousa romantic thriller from Alfred Hitchcock about a government agent investigating a gang of suspected Nazis in Brazil.
The food truck Manic Meatballs will be at the museum for the demonstration Notorious. The film begins at sunset, around 8:30 p.m. Seating is permitted from 7:30pm and there will be a trivia game until the film starts. If it rains, the film will be shown in the Great Osberg Hall in the museum.
