The Hateful Eight
Regard! Quentin Tarantino fans who missed this 2015 western when it hit theaters will want to take advantage of the fact that it’s now available on Netflix (along with the extended version!). This action-packed film has all the flair and style we’ve come to expect from a Tarantino film, and an amazing cast rounds it all out.
Set in Wyoming after the Civil War, The Hateful Eight follows a bounty hunter and his prisoner as they try to find shelter and encounter a group at a way station. The eight travelers quickly realize that they may not reach their destination.
Empire State
Skip! With a cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Liam Hemsworth and Emma Roberts, you might think so Empire State would end up being a fun way to get through 90 minutes, but unfortunately this action thriller is very boring and predictable. There are way better action movies on Netflix to watch this weekend.
way to perdition
Regard! Like several films on this list, way to perdition is expected to leave Netflix on April 30th, so now is the time to watch way to perdition if you haven’t already done so. Sam Mendes directs this moving crime drama starring Tom Hanks, Paul Newman and Jude Law.
Den of Thieves
Skip! Directed by Gerard Butler, this film isn’t the worst crime thriller out there, but there are better options. Also, this movie tends to stream regularly on various services, so even if you don’t see it before the May 1st release, it’s not a huge loss.
Scott pilgrim vs the world
Regard! Netflix recently announced that it is making a new series Anime sequel series live-action, and the entire original cast will return to reprise their roles. The last day you can watch this movie on Netflix is Sunday April 30th. So check it out now before it’s gone!
