The highly anticipated live-action version of The little mermaid is finally coming to the cinema. Luckily, we’ve got all the ways you can bring this Disney classic to life!
The little mermaid follows Ariel (Hall Bailey) – a young mermaid who longs for adventures beyond the sea. When the evil sea witch Ursula (Melissa McCarthy) offers her the chance to meet Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King) – a human – Ariel trades her angelic voice for a pair of legs, where she and her seamate friends must make the prince fall in love with her or she risks putting her life and that of her family in danger.
So where can you watch The little mermaid? When is it coming to Disney+? Will it be available on other streamers?

WHERE TO SEE THE LITTLE MERMAID:
From now on, the only option is to watch The little mermaid consists of going to the cinema at the premiere on Friday, May 26th. For a local demonstration see fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available for purchase or rent on digital platforms like Vudu. Apple, Amazon And youtube, or become available to stream on Disney+. WHEN WILL THE LITTLE MERMAID BE STREAMING? WHEN WILL THE LITTLE MERMAID BE ON DISNEY PLUS?
While no streaming release date has been announced yet, we can make an educated guess as to when The little mermaid will come to Disney+ Based on an earlier film by Walt Disney Studios. While there’s no set pattern, many Disney films air nearly 45 days after their theatrical release, usually on the Friday after. If that’s the case, The little mermaid could be streaming on Disney+ as early as July 14, 2023.
However, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hit theaters on February 17 before appearing on Disney+ on May 17 – about three months after its debut. If The little mermaid If the company follows this trend, it may not join the streaming platform until late August 2023.
WILL THE LITTLE MERMAID BE ON NETFLIX?
The little mermaid probably won’t be on Netflix as it will go straight to Disney+ once it hits theaters.
