Two-time Oscar winner Robert DeNiro returns to the big screen with a new film entitled About my father. Read on to learn all about it comedyincluding where you can see it.

About my father is a film directed by Laura Terruso from a screenplay co-written by Sebastian Maniscalco and Austen Earl. Additionally, it is inspired by Maniscalco’s actual life and relationship with his own father. He plays himself in the film.

It centers on Sebastian, who is encouraged by his fiancée to take his traditionally Italian immigrant father on a weekend get-together with her wealthy and eccentric family. Although there is initially a culture clash between the two families, they eventually bond, accepting each other’s differences and becoming a united family.

The cast includes Maniscalco and De Niro, Leslie Bibb, Anders Holm, David Rasche, Kim Cattrall and Brett Dier.

Is About My Dad on Netflix?

Unfortunately, you will not find this film on Netflix. However, it could eventually find its way to streamers in the future, but only if Netflix acquires streaming rights.
